Actually, I got ahead of myself.  This should NOT be done unless you change
the start of 30m band coverage of the KFL1-4 from 10.1 to 10.0 MHz.  This is
done by changing crystal X3 on the KFL1-4 from 18.1 to 18.0 MHz.  Only then
do you change B2 from 10.1 to 10.0 using the K1 menu.

If you don't do the crystal change, then your 30m coverage will run from
10.1 to 10.28 MHz.  All that extra coverage is pretty useless, but some
do that so that the VFO doesn't have to be run up to the high end to use
30m while the other three bands are utilized near the low end of the VFO.

I prefer 30m coverage to begin at 10.0 MHz because it allows me to hear
WWV at 10.0 MHz.

If you weren't given that 18.0 crystal, you can get that from Elecraft
the same time you get that 120 pf NPO cap for RF-C2.

I'll emphasize that this WILL be necessary, not only due to the new
capacitor, but also because you will likely alter the turn spread on
VFO toroid RF-L1 while working so close to it to change RF-C2.

  Mike,

It will not be necessary to change the CAL OPF menu settings unless a
crystal is changed on the 4 band board.  The calibration that is
necessary with a change of a capacitor in the VFO is the VFO calibration
which is achieved by changing the turns spacing on L1.
