Re: K3 ERR PL 1 storing empty memory to VFO UPDATE

After a power off and a radio club meeting (probably not relevant), my K3 is
behaving slightly differently.
The sequence:

Current freq: VFO A 1.870.000  LSB  VFO B 1.890.000
press M > V
select a null (empty) memory
press M > V
"BEEP"
frequency now VFO A 50.010.000 CW    VFO B 50.000.000    <--- last 6M freq /
mode set on 6M
no ERR PL 1

I realize trying to load the VFO from a null memory is 'wrong', but I would
expect the K3 to just stay where it was.
