Yes. My friend K7SO brought his KX3 to my station for a test. The KX3
acquitted itself very well against a well equipped K3. We were both
impressed that connected to my good ant farm the KX3 receiver without
crystal filter cleanly handled every loud sig we could find.
The KX3 is so good, in fact, the only reason my 2nd station isn't KX3
equipped is due to lack of diversity and ext rx ant. I use rx ants and
diversity for chasing low band DX just about daily. Thanks to the K3 -
gotta have it.
