A year or so ago, I decided to ckeck the current drawn by my loaded K3.
To my surprise and confusion, the K3 appeared to be drawing 2.7A with the
power switch OFF!!!
Various opinions expressed by this list notwithstanding, it took me a few
days to realize what was happening -
The digital meter, a Watt's Up, was being influenced by the HV radiation
from the display on the 756 ProIII, sitting directly above the K3. I turned
off the ProIII, and all returned to the expected 'normal'.
Just another of life's little mysteries.
