Re: (K3) Question re CW REV

Doug Joyce

GM:  I ordered a K3 at Dayton and while I'm waiting for delivery I've been
reading the manual and come across a term that is new to me.  Would someone
please explain exactly what is meant by "CW REV" and clarify whether the
actual carrier frequency is read on the front panel VFO A or B or is there
an offset.  I assume it has something to do with which sideband is used to
copy the signal but not sure.

Thanks & 73

Doug,

Yes, CW REV is CW on the opposite sideband.
The VFO indicates the carrier frequency - and will also be the transmit
carrier frequency unless XIT is on.
