Reviving this thread, because I don't think we ever got a comment from
the mother ship. The ability to feed monitor audio to LIN OUT without having it in headphones or speaker is very useful for contesters. Most SO2R ops prefer never to hear their own CW, but recordings that *don't* have it are very difficult to use. Any further thought being given to this option? -- 73, Pete N4ZR The World Contest Station Database, updated daily at www.conteststations.com The Reverse Beacon Network at http://reversebeacon.net, blog at reversebeacon.blogspot.com, spots at telnet.reversebeacon.net, port 7000 ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

I installed RecallPro on my desktop with the thought of recording some upcoming contests as I've done years ago. I fed the line out to my sound card only to discover that my sent CW doesn't appear on it. Would love to see the option of adding the operator sending to the mix. It's too awkward to patch the headphone jack to the soundcard.. |

It's too awkward to patch the headphone jack to the soundcard.. Related to that, shouldn't there be an option to exclude the monitor audio from the speaker output on SSB/AM, to prevent unwanted feedback? -- 73 from Ian GM3SEK http://www.ifwtech.co.uk/g3sek ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

I'm not quite sure how this suggestion would work. My priority would
simply be to have monitor output on the LIN OUT without having to turn up the monitor in my headphones. Is it still on the list? 73, Pete N4ZR The World Contest Station Database, updated daily at www.conteststations.com The Reverse Beacon Network at http://reversebeacon.net, blog at reversebeacon.blogspot.com, spots at telnet.reversebeacon.net, port 7000 On 11/12/2010 4:56 PM, Peter wrote: > N4BP schreef: > >> Reviving this thread, because I don't think we ever got a comment from >> the mother ship.
