Actually, I don't believe it's necessarily an RJ11 jack (2 conductors or
wires) as it can also be used for RJ14 (4 conductors) or RJ25 (6 conductors). It
is a jack that is capable of 6 positions. I believe the correct name depends on
how many wires are being used. I thought I'd just throw this out since we seem
to be nit picking over the modular jack that folks are referring to.......
