After some help hints from Dick (K6KR), Gary and the on-line trouble shoot guide; we were able to trace to issue down to a faulty DB9/KXUSB cable. We have ordered a new cable and will pass along any other learning that may occur concerning this issue.Thanks to all.73, Bill - W0BBI
