Re: KRX3 Subrx front panel issues - AuxDSP guilty!

Randy Hargenrader
I think I found the problem.  Looks like I had a screw head on the Aux
DSP board bumping up against the main board.  I have it running now -
first without the hardware and then now with it.... some insulating
patches of tape did the trick after confirming the hardware was
bothering something.

Seems to me that ALL the screws holding the AuxDSP to the standoffs
should be the nylon ones.... sure would have made my life easier!

Hi Randy,
Are you *sure* you fitted the correct hardware (standoffs etc)?  I have
built 3 of these now and not had any issues with hardware etc.  It is
easy to get the wrong sized standoff or to miss fitting a washer.

Ian,

Yes, that was checked many times - I know it seems incredible! hi!  What saved me is there is only one set (of three) male/female spacers.  Sometimes all the tolerances all add up the wrong way - especially for me! hi!

Be nice if someone who's learnt the hard way could list the oddities to look out for, ie DO THIS, DON'T DO THIS.
