My KX3 is an early model and I would like to pursue this modification for
improved 80/160M receive but I'd first like to see details on the mod. I
have the tools and expertise to service SMD components but I'd like to make
a more informed decision about this mod to my radio. Can you email me more
info on which parts are changed and where they're located?

Recently we've seen an increase in interest in the changes to the 80 and 160
meter filtering added to the KX3 in October of 2012.
Most operators who have the older circuitry will never experience band
conditions bad enough to warrant making the modifications, since even in
that case, the KX3's dynamic range would put it in the top ten on Sherwood's
list (about 90 dB at 2 kHz). But if you might be a candidate for the
