Re: Power Supply Question

Thanks for the inputs ... problem solved, and it turned out to be a
classic lesson in "correlation does not imply cause."  I had assumed
that the only thing that happened was that I turned off the supply while
the battery was still floating on the output.  When we returned home,
turning on the supply did nothing, ergo leaving the battery on the
output caused the problem.

Real problem:  A breaker in the box behind the door to the shack had
tripped and there was no AC to the supply.  I've had problems with this
breaker in the past, but they sort of went away, both in fact and from
my mind.  So, just because the human birth rate in Copenhagen is well
correlated throughout the year with the stork population (a fact)
doesn't mean ... well you probably get the idea.

Off to get some new ones on the K2.

Think you could send a copy of that to every practicing economist in the world?

They seem to have a lot of trouble grasping that little idea!

Real answer: ALWAYS CHECK THE BASICS FIRST.

I can't count how many times (even after I told myself) to check the  obvious
basic things first BEFORE ripping into the more difficult. 95% of the  time
it's something easy.
