Eric, in regard to your e-mail, am I correct in assuming that the price
increases will affect

the price of the recently upgraded KXV3A, and that the KXV3A will be
required to connect

the upcoming P3 to the K3?

The P3 uses the IF out of either the KXV3 or the KXV3A.  The KXV3A is
needed for use with internal band modules, such as the 2 meter K144XV.

If the P3 only requires the IF output from the KXV3, then a simple BNC
single hole socket mounted in the KXV3 blanking plate and a length of
RG174 (or similar) to the underside of the board will suffice, see the
KXV3 manual for how it's wired.
