There's also an operating/service manual available on ebaY for $14.95
"Buy-it-Now", if you care to have things like detailed calibration
procedure, etc.  You may also wish to join/post to a couple YahooGroups,
"nomanual" and "Manual Exchange"

I'm always a bit nervous about a piece of gear that comes without the
manual - especially, say, a built Heathkit.   I'm at the mercy of someone
else's building skills then.

But for a capacitor substitution like this, you can probably find what you
need at a distributor, Digi-Key, Mouser, Newark, Allied, etc.  Some of them
may be able to let you search for a sub, within the physical envelope of
the original.  Before you mount the thing permanently, try just
disconnecting and bridging in the sub.  There could be other things
failed.  Be careful; you are in lethal country there!
