Eric,
The zero-beat must be at whatever pitch you have set for the sidetone on
the K3 - it does not matter what that pitch may be, the results should
be the same.
The data sheet information may be entered using K3Utility, but I
*believe* you still have to use Method 2 to set the center for the
reference. The data sheet only provides variation with temperature, not
an absolute setting.
The Method 3 has not bee implemented yet because the reference
oscillator temperature accuracy is better than the spec without it. So
you get the specified accuracy for the 1ppm reference without need for
the temperature compensation.
