Yes there is an extract from the K2 manual that contain the alignment
related parts of the manual. It is on my website
http://w3fpr.qrpradio.com.
It was based on the Rev E manual, but is still valid for the Rev F manual.
If you are looking for a 'shortcut' to alignment, that does not exist as far
as I know. While I could create one, but it would be difficult to describe
the mental gymnastics that I normally do when doing an alignment to
determine if a particular measurement point or adjustment is within a normal
range - that takes a lot more experience than just working from a list of
steps. If you have that experience, you will be able to dig the relevant
steps out of the document that is on my website.
It is helpful to use the schematic to identify the part of the K2 that is
being measured or adjusted, and once you can relate a particular adjustment
to the normal signal flow, you will have come a long way toward developing
your own procedure.
