the K3.  In fact, FOUR per band instead of the three per band

How are these indicated on the display?  I don't
see an indication on the high resolution picture.  Of
course I used an Orion for several years without band-
stacking indication but I hope the K3 has one.

I also don't get many of the rants here from
people who have never even touched a K3.  Lots of folks
with time on their hands like to worry about hypothetical
problems (e.g. software downloads).  No rig is perfect
and no rig will satisfy everyone, but there is no better
rig at any price for what I need.  I'll gladly live with
a few issues to get the K3's performance and ergonomics.

Speaking of the latter, I believe the position swap
of RF Gain with AF Gain is an excellent refinement.  With
very good AGC, it's very unlikely you'll need to touch AF
Gain once set.  With different antennas, I need to touch
RF gain much more frequently.  Placing it on the bottom
where you can adjust it with your wrist resting on the
surface is a very nice touch.  These are little things
that will be noticeable in a long contest.

No indication planned on the display.  You select the per-band memory you
want by tapping M->V followed by the appropriate M1-M4 button.  (Programmed
by V->M.)  Numbered memories 00-99 are global.

How would you use an indicator?
