Thanks for the help guys. Indeed my toroids were wound just fine. I
did have to sacrifice two slug inductors last night (I installed the
wrong type, grrrr...) but after installing the correct ones, #5670 was
receiving strong signals on 40m. In fact my first signal was a CO6
with nothing more than 10' of wire flung out the window. Too much fun!
