My weapon of choice would be to make them listen to rap.
I could never understand why they left the initial "c" off. :) -- Julian, G4ILO K2 s/n: 392 K3 s/n: ??? Without any doubt the pipes produce those voluminous rousing tones, the cry
to battle, and can sing like the whispering wind sighing in the glens. I am assuming that those who cannot deliver think of pipes as screeching cats. I am going to get into trouble over this :-) 73, Geoff GM4ESD > As a piper, I don't know if I should take exception to this suggestion... > For the sake of good reflector relations I'll assume that you are > referring > to the voluminous, rousing tones of this ancient instrument and not to an > opinion that the bagpipe often sounds like a screeching cat. :-) > > Mychael AA3WF > K2# 1025 _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. [1] I would make them give up the day job, start a two-man operation
designing DIY radios for radio amateurs, a section of the population well known for being 'off with the fairies most of the time. [2] Then I would make them design a radio which will take on anything the big Japanese corporations can design but at a fraction of the price. [3] Finally they actually have to listen to the users. Can there be any worse fate? Nobody cries when you chop up a bagpipe. What's the difference between a bagpipe and a trampoline? You take your shoes off when you jump on a trampoline.
