Remote K3 audio

Good afternoon.
Brandon helped me get my K3/P3/K3 Mini remote working yesterday.
How do I manage (control/mute/adjust) the audio coming from the remotely controlled K3 when using the K3/0 Mini?? Currently, turning the volume control on the K3/0 Mini overrides the volume control setting on the remote K3.
