Remote control command - GET pitch freq?

I looked through the K3 Programmer's Reference manual but I can't find a
command to retrieve the sidetone pitch frequency.  Does anyone know of a
way to do that either directly or indirectly?

Ted,

The sequence to read sidetone pitch into a PC:

Send the SWH42; command,
Read back the contents of VFO A's display using the DS; command,
Convert the string to an integer.  The frequency shows as three digits
starting at the seventh character of the string.

This code fragment demonstrates:

WriteComPortString(CSpec[SWH42].Cmd);
sleep(20);
WriteComPortString(CSpec[DS].Cmd);
sleep(20);
ReadComPortString(cString, CSpec[DS].RspZ);
rc = atoi(&cString[7]); // sidetone freq.
