Gregg,
You do not need to remove anything other than the K160RX board itself.
Install a jumper (bent component lead) between pins 1 and 7 of J14.
In general, there is no need to remove the K160RX when troubleshooting
unless you suspect something pointing to the board itself. It contains only
the 160 meter LPF and the connection to the RX antenna.
