Sale, Elecraft KX3 W/Accessories (S/N 2693)

Hello all,

I'm selling this KX3, 160-6M transceiver for a very good friend of mine who fell on difficult times and is unable to keep the unassembled radio. It's in the original box as Elecraft shipped it. I opened it only to retrieve the invoice and verify any accessories. The following are included:

KXAT3 Antenna Tuner.
KX3 Retainer PCB Kit. No value added on invoice.
KXFL3 Dual-Passband Roofing Filter.
MH3 Hand Microphone.
KXUSB USB Interface Cable. No value added on invoice.

I can e-mail the packing list if needed. Above items are being sold as a "complete package".

Original value, $ 1,287.40.
Asking $1,075.00.

Postal money order or bank cashiers check please.

Shipping is included, CONUS only. We would ask, however, an additional $10.00 for shipping West of the Mississippi.

HI Ken:

Sorry to hear your friend is in circumstances which require him to  
sell what is one of the world's best transceivers.  I hate to hear  
stories like that, but things like that do happen.

Before you complete any deals, why not try contacting Elecraft.  Since  
the rig is essentially untouched, they may be willing to refund your  
friend's total invoice cost.  He'd only be out the cost of shipping/
insurance.  A much better deal for him.  I already have a nice KX3, or  
I'd offer to pay the list price.

I recall either Eric or Wayne saying on either this or the KX3 forum,  
that if any customer was not happy with his KX3, it could be returned  
for a full refund.  In this case, your friend has not even powered up  
the radio once, let alone put it together.

Worth investigating, anyway.
