Satellite Ops Using K3's K144XV

Phil Hystad-3
First, a comment:  I have not yet done any satellite ops work and I am still learning about it so my questions may have simple answers.

Has anyone used the K3 with the K144XV for satellite repeater type contacts.  Skipping the issue of antenna for the moment, does the K144XV offer any of the special features that are found in other rigs that support satellite comms features such as the Yaesu FT-847 Satellite transceiver.

Thanks.

73, phil, K7PEH

Phil,

Normal satellite operation uses full duplex, and the K3 cannot do that.
