Short notice trip w/K3

I may have a trip to the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands.

I will have to leave by Thursday the 12^th and spend two or three days on site.

Is it worth trying to get my K3 there with me?

Any help on how to get the licensing stuff worked out?

I have looked on the net but most sites that look useful are blocked here at work.

I am betting someone from this FB group can help?

Check here, you may be able to get a permission on the spot as we have a reciprocal agreement with the Marshall Islands:

Think there are several hams on the island and also think they had major storm surge damage this year. so V7 has been kinda quiet... Not sure about the power situation, maybe a K2 with the internal battery pack would be a better choice?
