I've got a small problem with my XV50.
The XV 50's keyline is driving the 2 relay coils that switch my hb 100W
amp in and out. In CW, once in awhile the headphones remain muted for a
few morse elements (maybe a second), but I hear the relays (don't know
if they're the XV50 relays or the amps relays) clicking to the morse. As
opposed to most of the time when I hear band noise between elements /
letters ... e.g. full qsk. The "problem" seems to self correct after 1
character or less. I don't key very fast. I'm using a speed-x hand key
at no more than 20 wpm max and usually less. The amp relays are Omron
G5LE14's with 12 v coils. Rated 33 mA per coil, 10ms activate/5ms
release. I'm wondering if it could be the relays or maybe the firmware????
If this problem sounds familiar to you, I'd like to hear about what
caused it and how you fixed it.
