So how is your week going?

Tom Bosscher
If you folks remember, or care, two plus years ago, I was on the
receiving side of K2 # 3206 as a consolation prize when  I turned 50,
from my wonderful wife, Sheila, W8IIE. We met seven years ago on the
Internet, no less. We got married six years ago on June 20. We are
heading out the door for an anniversary/vacation to VE3 land. Just a bit
ago, she hands me a box, and tells me it's my sixth anniversary present.

Inside is the XV-50 that I really really wanted. And a note that
ANOTHER K2 is in route. (So I can be on the low bands and six at the
same time, of course).

So I have to ask you, how is your week going?

Can't wait to get back to start soldering.

p.s. Eric and Wayne... That Lisa of yours. Lisa and my Sheila are
quite the pair. I have a wonderful wife and you have one, among many,
great employee.

p.p.s.   Russ, N3CO, Sheila W8IIE and myself will be holding down an
Elecraft booth at the Holland Super Swap (Holland, Michigan) on October
22, 2005.

Your wife figured out something I learned a long time ago. I got my wife
interested in wood crafts to go along with her many other artistic
endeavors, then for anniversaries, etc. I gave her power tools that I...I
mean, she...I mean, we...could use.

Actually, she was a fine craftsman in wood, stained glass and every thing
else and was thrilled about a new tool.
