Software for K2

Tom Hall-5
Craig,
I like MixW. I have it set up where I can push the most important buttons
for the K2 with macros. I mostly like the real time spectrum display. I
would not want to do without it if I didn't have to. I like being able to
"see" a little slice of the band while I'm tuning around. It also greatly
enhances tuning a cw signal by allowing you to place it dead center of your
filter passband. MixW will do almost anything you need although it takes a
little more work than some of the others. The logging and contest macros are
more than adequate for my needs. N4PY is also excellent for controlling a
K2.
You can try them all for free and I would advise doing so.
Tom, AK2B

I have only heard good things about MixW. I would not like to program all
the modes they support, I don't think the grey cells could stand it.
