Speaker on/off

Robby.VY2SS
I saw a macro to turn the speaker off and on somewhere but now I can't find
it. I don't see a function in the programmers guide that looks like it would
work.  Can someone send me that macro please?

The programmer's reference is your friend!

MN097; is SPKR+PH.

You can send UP or DN to toggle the setting.

So your macro to change from SPKR+PH from yes to no or no to yes might be
"MN097;UP;MN255;"

I don't think there's a command to just turn off the speakers. I could be
mistaken...

The MUTE AF macro will turn the AF gain to zero on main and sub...

That would be a waste of a macro, though, unless you combine it with
some other action - you can just assigned that menu item to a PF
button - no macro needed, and it'll work as a toggle.

Is there a way to (programatically) change them back to whatever the
pot is set to? That could be useful...

No macro is needed for single functions like this that already have a menu
entry.  Just go into the menu and find SPKR + PH, then tap or hold the
programmable function button of your choice (PF1, PF2 or the memory
buttons).  Each time you tap the button, the speakers toggles on/off.
