Special prefixes from Norway and Sweden

LA2MOA
Hi all,

from may 17 to june 6 (Norway) and june 7 (Sweden), Norwegian and
Swedish stations are allowed to use special prefixes to mark the
Centenary of the Peaceful Dissolution of the Swedish-Norwegian Union
in 1905. Accordingly, stations in Norway (except stations on
Spitsbergen, Jan Mayen, Bjornoya, Bouvet, Peter I) may use the
prefixes LI and LJ. Swedish stations may use the prefixes SE, SF, SJ
and SG.

There are two awards available regarding this event, "Norge 1905" and
"Sverige 1905". Rules and regulations for those awards will be found
by following these links:

Norge 1905: http://www.nrrl.no/7_english/start_e.htm

Sverige 1905: http://home.swipnet.se/SM6DEC/english_meny.htm

These Scandinavian prefixes are quite rare, so if you´re interested
in prefixes, take the chanse to work around 50 new ones in this
period. I bet there will be a bunch of LA´s and SM´s QRV during the
CQWPX CW the last weekend og may.

73/2!

Tom Arntzen
I will sertainly be using LI1PHA with my K2/100.
Trying to use as many bands as possible.

Actually the time limits is may 16 2200utc to june 6 2200utc for Norway LI
calls.
Also LB calls is more rare and can use LJ.
