Static Protection

Doug Ellmore Sr.
For those that have recently had some static/electric damage.  I have been
very happy with the Array Solutions AS-303U Lightning Protector with SO-239
and the Array Solutions AS-8SP for my control cable to my Stack Match
connecting my OCF Dipoles.  When I first put up my first OCF dipole, I
noticed an occasional static buildup when I went to reconnect the antenna
to my grounded switch  Since installation with the ground rod and static
discharge units, that seems to have all been resolved.  I highly recommend
them.  I wish I had them in 2001.  But that's another story.

Re: Static Protection

Chip Stratton
I use ICE (Industrial Communications Engineers) suppressors mounted on a
ground rod at the feed entry point to the house. It is a very low
resistance to ground at DC, they seem to be doing a good job.
