I saw a recommendation and wonder if you computer guys know if it would work or not.
Suggestion was to add in your address book something like. [hidden email] When that was unsuccessful, the intruding program would cease and move on and you would get a undeliverable notice. Thoughts? Would that work? 73 Mike R Sent from my spy ring ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
I'm not sure if it works, but I have it in my box and have not been hit yet!

It is very, very unlikely this would work.
The people that write and unleash malware are way, way smarter than that. Once they get in your address book, just assume they will harvest everything there and try them all. They have nothing to lose in trying. While making this addition to your address book will not "hurt" anything, I would not bank on it really accomplishing anything either. Dave, AH6TD Computer Guy.
