Suddenly deaf on CW

Keith Bainbridge-2
We have 2 x K3's at our club and on Sat last one of them developed a
problem. Sensitivity on 10 mtrs dropped by 80% compared to the other
radio on the same antenna.
Transmit is not affected.
I have not been out there myself to check, but any ideas would be
appreciated!
The operator Steve changed the radios over and carried on, but then
found a second problem with the replacement radio.
On switching from ssb to cw on any band the receiver stopped working
altogether.
Switch back to ssb ands all is well. The radio does not have a cw filter
fitted( its on the way ) and Nr was not selected.
Unfortunately this particular operator hates the K3 ( hes a Yaesu man )
and loves excuses to knock them :(
I hope to get out there tonight but any ideas would be a help please.

Re: Suddenly deaf on CW

Dick Dievendorff
Did someone press the Rx Ant button when on 10 meters, or change it ANT2?
This is a per-band setting.

Also perhaps the filter configuration hasn't been properly completed to
enable the installed filters on CW mode.
