If you worked N2WN, you worked a K2 ;o)
Talking about rates, I know several folks who can
maintain 300 QSOs per hour!!! I don't know about you,
but I sure can't type that fast ;o)
I consider myself a mid level contester and every
contest has it's tricks to make life easier. SS isn't
any different. Develop an ear for the exchange pattern
and kinda ignore the rest seems to work best
(particularly when you're dead tired).
I can honestly say, I don't miss paper logging. N1MM
had a few glitches this weekend with the latest
update, but usually performs extremely well. Computer
logging is one way to get your rates up. It takes
times to learn, but as with most things, worth the
effort if it's what you're in to...
As in real estate, location, location, location does
come into play. Look at the records held by D4B,
VY2ZM, PJ2T... all have good stations (alright great
stations, except D4B which is no more) and top
operators, but the locations are the real edge IMHO.
Thanks for the Q's and it looks like the 2007 SS CW
was the year of the QRP operator. I was really amazed
at how many "Q" operations I logged. Bravo folks!

Julius
