Hi John
I was warned against switching supplies when I was building the K2.
However, I'm cheap.
I bought a Radio Shack 20A switching supply.
I don't have a spectrum "waterfall" monitor but I receive signal
reports that are not just good but very good on SSB
and no negative comments on CW.
