I built last weekend the T1 the mini outboard tuner and it seems to be working but something is wrong.
I built it and it works but the SWR indication is not correct.
If I power it up and go to "PWR" mode I can see the leds representing the RF power that is Spot on . It works very well. Then when I tune the relays start clutching and it is trying to find a match it seems to work but the SWR indication at the end of the tune cycle is each time 1:3 or higher only red led on.
Then to investigate I put a SWR bridge between de TXCVR and the ATU and connected a dummy load on the other side of the ATU. Then after tuning it still shows a high SWR (red led) but my bridge shows close to 1:1.
I also checked the bypas mode and that is not the problem.
Then I tuned an antenna which is without tuner 1: 1.5 and with tune 1: 1.3 ( still led red) so it works but I could not get my other antenna which is running without tuner 1:3 any better it is with or withour tuner almost the same.
Each relay works individual and the coils and C seems ok.
