Finally figured out what was wrong with the TX Inhibit system causing a loss of the first dot or dash on CW. We were using Firmware 3.97 and it turns out that it was the culprit. We downloaded and installed the latest version of the firmware and all is fine with the TX Inhibit. For those that may be interested, we have two ACOM 2S1 switches in a custom designed (tks to N3RD) system that permits us to either operate the two stations in partner mode, sharing the PA of either station, or in separate mode, wherein the stations each have their own amplifier and are on different bands. Works like a charm. Thanks to K2AV, who helped me figure out that it wasn't a hardware problem or menu setting.
