Visit the website of the current TY5WP operation (
http://www.ty5wp.pa7fm.nl/ ) and notice their rigs: three K2/100's and a
K2.
They've been booming into Nevada all evening on 3505.03. Heavy static
here tonight, so I used the 160m module's receive antenna feature to
listen with a small loop. Without that option on the K2 I wouldn't have
made an 80m QSO. Remember: that receive option isn't just for 160m!
Seems like more and more of the big dxpeditions are using Elecraft gear.
For some reason an Elecraft-to-Elecraft DX QSO has a special feel to it.

John, N7ON K2/100 S/N 5023
