Text to RTTY via N1MM?

Jim AB3CV
Anyone found a way to generate RTTY from N1MM using the builtin RTTY
feature of the K3 for FSK-D? It would be nice not to need an AUX port
connection rather just use the serial port.

Thanks

I never thought of trying it before, but this actually seems to work
better than I guessed it would .... program your function keys like:

F1 CQ,{CATA1ASC KY RU * * CQ <04>;}
F2 Exch,{CATA1ASC KY 599 {EXCH} ! <04>;}
F3 TU,{CATA1ASC KY TU * CQ <04>;}
F4 {MYCALL},{CATA1ASC KY * ;}
F5 His Call,{CATA1ASC KY ! ;}

The <04> means "send immediately".

Let me know how it goes ;)

Actually it means "stop sending immediately" - otherwise you'll get
some seconds' worth of diddles....
