"That said, it's an excellent idea ..." (was "Building Advice Wanted")

That said, it's an excellent idea to build the basic K2 and do all the
testing and alignment, then add the modules one at a time, doing all the
tests and checks for each one, one at a time, as you go.  That way if you do
make a mistake you will find it the moment you add the new module, and
you'll know where to look.

ABSOLUTELY Ron!  In fact, its more than a good idea ... it's ESSENTIAL!

The real beauty of un-module headers is that they make it possible to
build a K2 so that electrically, it's identical to a stock / bare K2, even
while incorporating all of the preparation changes for all of the options.

Subsequently, after final alignment, the options can be added one at a
time, simply by popping the cover, removing the un-module header(s), and
installing the option.  (By following our suggestions, even the four
standoffs will already be installed on the RF board.)  And, the additional
cost to make this possible is minimal.

Further, beyond the elimination of repeated disassembly and all PCB
rework, if you do run into a problem, it will be "light years" easier to
back up a step, simply by removing the option module and re-installing the
un-module option bypass header(s)!

Our new "Companion Guide" (describing in great detail how to do this)
will be completed and formally published later this weekend.  Until then,

new orders until a week from Monday.
