And yet, even today, I heard one station that at the beginning of each
transmission (the sequence, not each character), the tone was 30 or so
cycles low, then came up on pitch.  They need to know that.

No I didn't work that station, I left after I beat them out on working the
DX station.

For the limited dabbling I did today, I added 12 more new 'countries'
(hoping that they use LOTW).  Thanks Elecraft, you folks make it easy...
well easier anyway.  I still miss my tower and beam.  :o)
