The Toroid Guy

cwm2
I highly recommend "The Toroid Guy" and his Toroids!

I've used his services quite a few times and always have
received excellent service and perfect Toroids!

He wounds them by hand without a machine!

Really saves a lot of time, too.  It's good to wound some
Toroids yourself, just for the experience, but after that I
would rather have him do it!

Re: The Toroid Guy

Wow. A thread dedicated to me! It has been pleasing to read the nice
comments from my fellow hams and builders.

When someone new to toroids is on the fence concerning the decision to wind
their own parts or use my service, I tend toward advising them to try their
hand at a few first. If it isn't to their liking I will ship out whatever
sets they need the same or next day, depending upon when I receive their
request.

It is worth noting that sometimes the decision to wind or not to wind is a
decision having to do with ability. For a variety of reasons, from poor
eyesight to reduced coordination, there are those who find my service
invaluable. As has been pointed out here already, some find it a boring
task or are simply tired of the winding and tinning.Whatever the reason, I
am always pleased to fill those toroid orders.

Thank you again, everyone, for your kind words!
