Well,
One thing to point out here about the K3...the design parameters were to develop and SDR type of radio with also proven - standard - technology from years past. I am not sure I said that right...but...the K3 takes the technology from our forefathers...melds it with SDR technology....and we have what we have. I would say that the K3 is a "convergence" of technology....tired and true...and cutting edge.
Have they done it? Yes. Proof is right there on my operating bench. Is it the best it can be? Dunno. Will the technology get better - Yes! Where will it end up? Dunno.
One thing for certain, (and I said this in a previous post) we are still at the beginnings of what can be done is SDR. I think there is more to come.
I am waiting for the day I can download
sunspots and load them into my radio....set the radio to CONFIG:SUNSPOTS ON.

In our day and age it seems that Common Sense is in short supply. If you don't have any Common Sense - get some Common Sense and use it. If you can't find any Common Sense, ask for help from somebody who has some Common Sense. Is Common Sense divine? |
