Thump through speakers when switching on and mute probs with headset.

Hi all,

I am getting a pretty sizable thump through the external speakers at switch
on,

Also last night found using my headset Yamaha CM500 and an external RX
antenna
the audio was not muting fully and I would get a thump through the external
or
if disconnected internal one intermittently on receive.

I have the menu item on phone with no speaker ?

Could be a faulty or worn phone jack - using front panel headphone connector
and rear Mic connector.

Any one else experience this ?
