Tortoise & the Hare

Julius Fazekas n2wn
I must put myself in the hare category (read "Bugs
Bunny").

I appreciate the turtle method, and use it when I have
doubts about the component or location. Always have
the DVM on hand as some of the resistor colors are too
close in shade to each other. I like to solder in
waves, it just feels good.

As I progress, I check each solder connection again
and again. I tend to reheat suspicious ones as I
progress without adding solder. Having a flux pencil
on hand makes the reheats go better on those
connections that may require some help. Thin solder is
the only way to go IMHO.

Julius, your Grandpa Aesop would not be pleased about Bugs!     OK, OK,
Turtles are up-market Tortoises.
