Transverter settings and UPdate

Bill Davis Jr

I have never done a K3 software before having only had my K3 since the end of August. When I do the update will ALL of my transverter power, IF freq, offset etc settings be lost??  Lots of rig setup that I would have to carefully document and then RESET after every update if so .... ARGH

Aside ---- Ran considerable 6m and 222Mhz WSJT meteor scatter weekend before last for the first time with the K3 ... Yes Yes in SSB mode ... I am aware I have the Data modes available, very happy with the way things ran. Also had a nice 902Mhz FM QSO over a 155mile path the first day I had the K3 FM filter installed. Good UHF tropo a couple days in a row last week

Thanks for any insight on the UPDATE ...

Bill,

Not to worry, those menu settings will be kept through an upgrade.
In general, you only need to pay attention to a menu setting after an
upgrade when something for that particular menu item has been changed
(and you do not like the default).  The Release Notes will indicate if a
menu item has been changed.
