Transverters setup

Phillip Buckholdt
Hi all

     I am using a XV-50 and XV-144.  I am now finishing a Xv-432. When
setting up in the K-2 menu as TRN3, setting the operating freq. as 432 and
exiting the menu, then going to TRN3 the dispayed frequency is 418.000.  To
get the K-2 display to read 432.000, I have to set the Freq. to 446 in the
setup menu. Is this right??  Can't find any reference to this in the K-2,
XV60 or XV432 manuals.

Does anyone have had this problem?

     Thanks de Phil

Phil,

It sounds like you have either the frequency offset or the IF frequency
currently set to 14.000 MHz - something to check out.  Look at all the
parameters for the TRN3 entry and you will find one of them incorrect.
The IF frequency should be 28 MHz.
