Just got my 100th Om (103 qsos) from this operating spot in Toulon, southern France, despite occasionnal heavy qrn; I am located since the beginning of october not far from a major submarine base and the main electrical rail link to Italy, using a KX1 (#442).
But so far, with a simple 25 ft random wire and one radial, got many 589 - 599 from 24 countries averaging 1000 km, at 3 watts.
