I have just completed the assembly and installed the 100 PA. I ran the
tests suggested in the book but no transmit checks at the low power. I
guess at this point I have no idea if the 10w stage is working.
When going to CONFIG :KPA I see a lot of choices, it would appear that
PA nor is the correct choice. When trying to perform the transmit
gain calibration, the front panel power output adj. will only goes to
12w. When I go to Tune I get 0.0w out. I have see ERR TXg message
after my attempts. There is not much information in the book about ERR
TXg.
Can you bypass the 100W pa from the front panel?
I sure would like to chat with some one about this.
