As from manual I see that a serial(XCVR) port and a proper configuration allow to switch KPA500 band by radio, in my case TS-590S.
My setup is with two computers running N1MM on each, two radios and one KPA500.
I would like for my SO2R setup switch KPA500 band by any of my radios.
Do I have to use Serial Port Switch to let both transceivers communicate with KPA500?
I am not sure if it is a good idea to use a frequency sense of KPA500 and provide only PTT line from transceivers, I think in SO2R it is better to use COM port, but serial port could be slow a little as in SO2R setup it is constant transmission from one or another radio.
Any advice will be appreciated.
