We had another very enjoyable and informative net again, conditions were
quite favourable with little QRM.
Paul, M1PAF, enlightened us on his progress with his remote balanced
antenna tuner project and how it now tracks his K3 under serial control
from the K3. Peter, G3UCA, is looking to put a display of Elecraft
equipment at the Blackpool Rally in April. We had a discussion on the
comparison between the K2 DSP audio filter board vs. the KAF2 and also
general options for someone buying a K2 now. Also covered were the
various mods for the K3 and the merits, or otherwise, of -ve ALC from a
linear to a K3.
